Why save words?

The app tracks all read words automatically. So, why save words at all?

When you save a word, it gets added to you Vocabulary. This is what you can do with the words in your Vocabulary:

  1. Review with flashcards
  2. Use the Chrome Browser Extension to translate on web pages you visit
  3. Export
  4. Use with AI simplification (the weakest words are included in the simplified text automatically when appropriate)
  5. Follow your actual vocabulary growth

Which words to save?

In general, try to save only one form of the word. It depends on the language but try saving the base form (dictionary form) of the word (save, for example, "learn" but not "learns, learning" etc. It will be easier to practice it later with flashcards.

It's fine to skip saving the word if you don't see the base form in the text. If the word is important, you'll see it soon again in another text.
